The Personal Care service is assistance with daily self-care tasks in order to help the client maintain appropriate standards of hygiene and grooming.

Services may include:

• Assistance with (or supervision of) bathing, showering or sponging
• Assistance with medication
• Assistance with dressing and undressing
• Assistance with shaving, hair care (not hair cutting) and grooming
• Assistance with mobility including getting in and out of bed; to sit up, to turn, to stand and walk, to sit, to transfer to commode or chair.
• Assistance with toileting
• Assistance with prescribed exercise or therapy programs
• Assistance with fitting and use of aids.

You must be at home to receive this service. If you need to cancel a service we ask you to advise the office the day before or sooner when possible. If you are not at home when our staff arrives your number will be contacted and a fee will be charged.
